We know that we're only as good as our front line workers, and have structured our business to create a supportive work environment and retain teammates that are invested in the company. Our cleaning technicians are employees rather than subcontractors. Their supplies, uniforms, training, and drive time are paid for, and we provide housing to our seasonal employees. Our software allows us to be in continuous contact with our team, to ensure that we're keeping a close eye on your property, and fulfilling any special requests.

Founder

Natasha grew up on an organic farm near the small town of Ladysmith on Vancouver Island. With two entrepreneurial parents it is not surprising that she's always looking to improve operations and can never sit still. She started as a housekeeper and residential cleaner at 17, and went on to study Hospitality Management. She has worked as management in most hotel departments, and understands that adaptability, communication, and quality are key traits to running a successful business. In 2018 she founded Suds n' Stays, purchased a home (and Airbnb) in Radium, and in 2019 welcomed her daughter Zara to the mix. At the time Natasha completed most clean herself. Today the team has grown to 20 during peak seasons, and the business houses up to 14 cleaning technicians in Radium Hot Springs. Natasha and Darren live with now 2 daughters in Edgewater, BC.

Operations Assistant

Shawndrae (Drae), raised in the Columbia Valley, joined our team in 2022 as a cleaning technician. She learned the ins and outs of residential, vacation home, and vacation rental cleaning in no time, and was eager to take on more responsibility. She now handles walkthroughs, administrative tasks, assists with communications and marketing, and is the point of contact for several of our clients. She trains new cleaners, performs quality checks and is quick to help a guest or client with urgent matters. Drae is the patient and friendly face that greets new clients and helps keep our countless tasks and operations moving together cohesively.

The All-Around Troubleshooting Guy

Darren is from a remote and very small community on the West Coast named Kingcome Inlet. From early on he learned that there's almost always a way to solve a problem (and up there no one else would do it for you). Darren's many years of experience in the fast-paced food and beverage industry have taught him that timing and organization are everything!
Our summers are packed with back-to-back stays, and troubleshooting becomes a full time job. Darren helps us keep our operations running smoothly, whether it's swapping propane, assisting guests with a key pad,  delivering linens where an appliance has broken down, or checking on any number of household notifications sent to our clients devices.
